Job Description:

Job Overview:
The Strategic Accounts Sr. Associate will play a key role in supporting Crowe's and Tax's top strategic accounts, working closely with Private Equity Tax Leader (PE Tax Lead) that is directing or overseeing these strategic accounts including specific accounts they are driving.

The Strategic Accounts Sr. Associate will sit in the Tax Business Unit & bring together skills and experiences in program & account management to drive timely & accurate account reporting, transaction updates, portfolio company analysis, coordinate successful orchestration across many supporting Partners and team to ensure client success outcomes, and coordinate to a high-performing strategic business partner to our most important accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Account/Program/Project Management support as needed by PE Tax Lead, which could include:

    • Work with the Private Equity Tax Leader's counterparts, and other Partners engaged on these strategic accounts to provide insights and visibility to the performance of the team, needs of the team, helping monitor the billing, collections, independence monitoring that is fully necessary for Pinnacle Accounts for Tax and for the Firm.

    • Overall account management, coordination and orchestration on efforts at both the strategic account fund level as well as all the programs going on with many and varied portfolio companies.

    • Promote visibility & risk management by driving program & project reporting across all projects related to the account. This includes ensuring the proper level of document storage as necessitated by leading practices and protecting the Tax BU and the Firm.

  • Develop an Account Management program with repeatable processes to drive consistent reporting & enhanced Client satisfaction:

    • Identify & present opportunities for standardization of program & project management processes across Tax Strategic PE accounts.

    • Flag opportunities to tailor processes where applicable to meet unique needs of assigned account, specific services, products, and/or relevant compliance.

    • Drive frequent status reporting at both the account & project-level to promote active visibility & timely risk mitigation

Qualifications:

  • Foundational knowledge of program & project management methodologies to deliver products and/or service outcomes.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with Executive stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and strategic clients.

  • Ability to balance & adapt to changing client demands, project requirements, and priorities shared across the assigned account.

  • Familiarity with Professional Services industry and leading with Tax, but also including audit, consulting, processes as applicable.

  • Collaboration with firmwide Market Office and Pinnacle Account programming to share and implement best practices

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive business growth within key accounts.

  • Solid understanding of standardization and process improvement methods to support and ensure consistent service delivery.

  • Excellent understanding of client relationship management and the ability to build and maintain a long-term internal client relationship.

  • Ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and report on both account status & related projects performance in a regular cadence.

  • Experience leveraging Lean methodologies to design hybrid project delivery models.

  • Solid presentation and influencing skills.

  • Idea leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Working knowledge of Crowe's Business Unit's, Industry verticals and services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Math, Finance, Science)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program and/or project management, with a focus on client engagement, relationship management, business development

  • Consideration for Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or equivalent certification for growth to Manager and beyond

  • Experience working with key accounts and understanding their unique needs and expectations.

  • Track record of driving business growth and expanding revenue within client accounts through operational, program, and/or project management improvements.

  • Demonstrated ability to support those that lead cross-functional teams and provide guidance at a program-level.

  • Proven track record of successfully supporting management of complex programs from design, to implementation, to adjustment through to completion.

  • Experience in supporting and influencing project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and performance.

  • Certifications in Agile/Scrum project management methodologies desirable.

  • Experience in public accounting, consulting, or other professional services is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., Workday, MS Project, etc.).

  • Agile at adopting new technologies (like CroweMind) and other emerging technologies to vet use cases for practical applications to drive efficiencies in performance.

  • Proficiency in O365 suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
