Job Description

Basic Function:

Supports and assists management and program management with various aspects of contract management, development along with contract administration with professional service contractors and equipment and material suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field
  • Working experience using and interpreting Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Advance knowledge of computer software, i.e., Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word documents
  • Knowledge of US Government, USCG and ABS forms for submittals during a project
  • Good communication skills, including written and oral communication
  • Working within the Shipbuilding and/or steel manufacturing industry is desired

Essential Functions/Duties:

  • Supports PM group in negotiating various elements of contracts with suppliers and vendors
  • Assist Legal and PM departments in reviewing proposals, compliance requirements and regulations, etc.
