PALA Interstate, LLC

General Description:

Field planning/engineering personnel will work with, report to, be trained & mentored by more experienced PALA project personnel, performing work on active projects in a Golden Triangle Region Refining / PetroChemical facility. Work hours and schedule will be project specific.

Essential Functions:

1. Reviewing Client Plans and Specifications

2. Material TakeOffs and Development of Material Requisitions,

3. Arrangement and managing of material deliveries

4. Determination of optimum Construction Equipment for estimates

5. Developing Bid packages for Subcontractors and evaluation of their proposals

6. Developing detailed work plans and corresponding detailed schedules

7. Procurement of Materials with corresponding Material receipt (Quantity / Quality) tracking

8. Tracking of labor quantities complete in the field with input into the detailed Project Cost and Schedule Reporting

9. Tracking of Construction Equipment utilized and projects with input into the detailed Project Cost and Schedule Reporting

10. Assist Safety Professionals with development of Project Safety Plans

11. Assist Quality Professions with development of Inspection Test Plans

12. Completing customer required reporting daily for submission

13. Assisting PALA supervision with administrative tasks

The intent of the above is to provide a sample of the type of daily functions the planner/ field engineer will be exposed to and trained on. It is not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities. The planner/ engineer will assist with these responsibilities under the watch and guidance of an experienced Project professional.

• Five years of field experience or degree in construction management/engineering.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Experience with Inventor and AutoCAD R14 or higher.
• Must have a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Internet and email applications.
• Must maintain a valid Driver's License and meet appropriate motor vehicle insurance requirements.
