About your Role:

As an ACT Substance Abuse Specialist, you will work with adults living with severe mental illness and/or addiction issues. You will conduct assessments, provide individual and family counseling, case management services, and link clients to community resources, following the treatment plan goals. This position works a team on-call rotation for 1 week every 6-8 weeks and is provided 1 day of PTO for your work/life balance, whether you receive calls or not.We fully equip you through trainings on Initial assessments/evaluations, treatment planning and intervention, documentation, psychopharmacology, reporting regulations for child abuse and neglect, patient rights, and crisis intervention.

  • Competitive salary: $45,000-$55,00
  • Flexible weekly schedule: 8:30am-4:30pm weekdays

Does the following apply to you?

  • Licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LPC-S, BAC-S, LMSW or PLPC
  • 2 years prior professional experience providing services to persons with serious mental illness
  • Preferred: personal substance recovery or professional work experience with this population
