Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Global Transportation, the Senior Manager of Fleet Services is responsible for the growth and development of the Fleet Department (i.e.: Fleet Managers, Acquisitions Managers, and Fleet Coordinators). Additionally, this role is charged with leading strategic ideation, implementation, and execution of all fleet programs with a focus on overall customer service (internal and external stakeholders) and identifying creative ways to manage/mitigate spend via market data and collaboration. This role is the escalation point and primary contact for all external support vendors (i.e.: FMC, OEMs and Dealers, Telematics, etc.) and will be leaned on heavily to lead internal cross functional initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Safety, Growth, Profitability, and Employer of Choice
  • Implementation of strategic initiatives that improve customer service, cost, and efficiencies.
  • Collaborates with the Business Analytics group to establish a reporting and review cadence to analyze Fleet performance, allowing the data to drive company decisions.
  • Key relationship owner for all relevant Fleet internal/external stakeholders and vendors, focusing on meeting all customer service expectations and metric.
  • Develops, implements, and reviews company Fleet policies and training to ensure relevancy and impact.
  • Routinely present to senior leadership (i.e.: Sr. Director and VP levels)
  • Programs under this role's purview: Fleet Inventory, Acquisitions, Remarketing, Maintenance, Fuel, Tires, Vehicle Compliance, Registration & Renewals, MVR, Telematics Hardware, Toll Tags, Fleet Invoicing, Accidents & Claims, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Travel: ~25%
  • 7+ years' experience in Fleet Management or Operations.
  • 5+ years leading a team.
  • Bachelor's degree: Business, Supply Chain, or relevant focus preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with logical reasoning.
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to speak on the phone a large portion of the day.
  • Ability to multi-task.
