ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following:

  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Coordinate and evaluate the activities of Surveillance personnel in monitoring casino activities.
  • Ensure the policies, rules and regulations of the Company, State and other authorities are adhered to.
  • Assist surveillance management with new employee training and refresher training.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises cast members in the Surveillance department on a shift-to-shift basis. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Louisiana State Gaming License/Permit

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly required to sit. The cast member frequently is required to talk or hear. The cast member is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The cast member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to work in a smoking environment.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES/ JOB DIMENSIONS: Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Bally's Shreveport from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Bally's Shreveport Attendance Policy. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes all shifts, weekends and holiday periods
