Work Schedule: Straight day, Monday through Friday, most 6am - 2:30pm

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that each employee has the knowledge, training, tools, and equipment to perform their job safely
  • Ensures that training and safety practices are being conducted in alignment with PSC and the customer's best practices
  • Performs safety observations in the field, identifies trends or areas of concern and recommends improvements
  • Identifies opportunities for improvements in areas of safety, operations, environmental, productivity and product quality
  • Supports field employees with performance and efficiency improvements, helps establish effective corrective actions and ensures positive recognition is occurring for good performance
  • Participates in safety meetings and overall training initiatives
  • Facilitates effective two-way communication between management and employees
  • Performs field job duties as needed by the customer
  • Assist with line flushing and valve opening
  • Assist with work to de-energize units and equipment
  • Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
Job Qualifications:
  • Experience in a Plant Operator role
  • Experience in/around H-OIL-F-Resid Hydrocrackers, H-OIL-R, HTU2-Diesel Hydrotreater/Gas oil, HTU3-Diesel Hydrotreater, HTU1/CRU-Naphtha hydrotreater, VPS2 & 1-Crude units a plus
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and TWIC card (enrollment receipt accepted)
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
  • PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures a plus
