JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Excellence Analyst works closely with internal groups, such as Process Improvement, Operations Management, Inventory Control, Finance, & Accounting. This role will support distribution center projects and training to provide an efficient fulfillment of customer orders per organizational policies and procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports management team, providing recommendations and feedback on change initiatives.
  • Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure operational efficiencies.
  • Establishes and maintains process excellence program governance, project reviews, & communications.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs.
  • Verifies records for accuracy, tracks data, and ensures databases are updated.
  • Reviews departmental procedures and makes suggestions for improvements.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and sustainability of the Distribution Quality System (SQD).
  • Researches, recommends and/or communicates other resources for employee improvement as necessary.
  • Develop and/or update administrative processes to make them more efficient.
  • Serves as backup to prepare and submit PO's and CAPEX Requests (CER's) for review and approval. Manage FAR (Fixed Asset Register) for capital expense purchases.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as needed upon request such as but not limited to: Report generation, information flow to other departments/stakeholders, and coordination of special projects.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience (2-4 years' experience).
  • Ability to act independently without direct supervision and support a team to accomplish timely objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with employees with limited English skills, Bilingual preferred.
  • Ability to lead group instruction and training activities.
  • Has a basic understanding of OSHA and safety regulations.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, SAP & Manhattan knowledge preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills including:
    • Excel - H-Lookup, V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, Data Formulas, Charts, Pivot Charts, Data Validation, Linked Spreadsheets, Conditional Formatting, Macros, etc.
    • Power BI knowledge a plus.
  • Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, displaying patience and adapting to the learning style of others
  • Must be able to wear protective eyewear, footwear, hand protection (gloves) and safety vests
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations preferred
