Azelis Agricultural & Environmental Solutions (A&ES) is seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. The Marketing Manager will be

responible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.


About Azelis A&ES

Azelis Agricultural & Environmental Solutions (A&ES) distributes herbicides in the industrial, aquatics, rights-of-way, range and pasture, and agriculture markets; and has served the forestry market for more than 20 years. We have also been the leading US supplier of professional vector control products within the U.S. since 1985. More recently, we started distributing exclusively for Solvay Ag into the U.S. and Canada.

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Report to: Managing Director A&ES

Location: Remote

  • Manage Azelis A&ES Marketing Budget ensuring all stakeholder needs are met in accordance with Azelis brand standard and within budget
  • Work with individual VP's of Sales and Senior Leadership to develop market specific and comprehensive A&ES annual marketing plans
  • Targeted eblasts from 5 separate markets - yearly plans are made with the VP of Sales for each division
    • Work with different members of each team to create content depending on subject matter
    • Approval goes through VP's of each sales segments
    • Convert targeted eblasts into a Grow Your Know article on website
    • Report on eblast metrics to sales leaders, technical sales reps, and principal partners if applicable
  • A&ES Social Media pages and content creation
    • Attend weekly meetings to ensure we are presenting timely information and a process approval process that goes through designated A&ES team members
    • Accompany social media presence with retail road shows when applicable
    • Leverage seasonality and species prevalence to promote both regionally and nationally
    • Active social media platforms include Facebook, Linked In and Instagram
  • Azelis A&ES website
    • Keep all legacy content current and accessible
    • Post new content/updates to appropriate customer facing pages
    • Manage SEO optimization and report on key metrics associated with customer facing webpages
    • Creation and placement of Google Ads
  • Print Advertising
    • Includes design of print ads anywhere, in various size and complexity, for all markets in trade association magazines and newsletters
    • Manage digital banner ads when applicable
  • Veg Retail Centers Marketing
    • Creating an advertising plan for these locations - will vary by location
    • Provide MARCOM plans to local DC managers in order to increase brand recognition and foot traffic at retail sites
  • Tradeshows, Annual Meetings, and Workshops at A&ES
    • Managing meetings, workshops, and trade events adhering to brand standards including booth setup and removal, sponsorship opportunities, special events, schedule of activities, and registrations
  • A&ES Clothing and Promotional Items
    • Manage clothing and promotional items related to the A&ES organization
      • Azelis branded logo wear for internal team
      • Azelis branded logo wear for external customers/principals
      • Promotional items by division and region
      • Holiday gifts and/or periodic company promotional opportunites
  • Print collateral
    • Responsibility for all Vector and Veg branded product literature (Vector Technology & Veg Surfactants)
      • Familiarity with graphic design tools for in-house creation of proprietary product print collateral
      • Not limited to but includes spec sheets, manuals, post cards, holiday cards, promotional ads, and etc.
      • Supplier Meetings & Presentation
      • Confident presenting in group settings to senior leadership on MARCOM metrics
      • Travel to and present at key principal partner business review meeting on MARCOM metrics germane to the partnership
      • Work with sales leadership and principal partners to develop and track KPI's related to partnership
      • Work with sales leadership to develop presentation content related to MARCOM activities in the period
  • Product Branding
    • Creation of new logo's when applicable

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in teams with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Have a high level of organization and project management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Possess a work ethic that mimics A&ES core values of Grit, Integrity, Effective Communication, Professionalism and Positivity
  • 1-5 years of experience desired in a marketing/sales function desired
  • Experience managing social media platforms, graphic design tools, project management software, and CRM platforms
  • Willingness to travel
