ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Greet guests, answer questions and be able to solve any micros problems.
  • Ensures 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Order supplies and assist with maintaining budget.
  • Conduct daily training and pre-shifts.
  • Keeps and organizes all daily tickets and reports from the daily operation of the buffet.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed; counsel, discipline and coach as needed.
  • Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous repour when dealing with guests and fellow employees. Attend department meetings as scheduled.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES/ JOB DIMENSIONS: Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Bally'sfrom time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Bally'sAttendance Policy. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes all shifts, weekends and holiday periods

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
