This job assists the hospital in the care of patients and performs special technical skills/treatments according to level of knowledge under the supervision of a physician.
Education
Required - High school diploma or equivalent
Graduation from an approved Paramedic Program
Work Experience
Required - None
Preferred - Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or Hospital Experience
Certifications
Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire
Paramedic License in the State of Practice
Registered Paramedic with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
