Description

Responsible for general building maintenance tasks. Assist in steam cleaning machines returned for rentals and equipment going into the shop. Operate Tennet sweeper and maintain the equipment. Other duties as assigned. Shipping/receiving machines and attachments from manufacturers, customers, and various other sources. Enter data into computer system, photograph equipment, and inspect for damages. Will also perform as shop mechanic when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
G.E.D or High School Diploma
Must have 4 years of previous experience.

Requirements:
Must have a working knowledge of the above-titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its' objectives.
Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
Must conform to company policies and procedures set forth by the company.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days, and weekends (as necessary.)
Must be dependable and work independently.
Must maintain good client relations.
Must maintain a professional appearance.
Must promote and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment along with complying with state regulations for hazardous waste disposal.
Must have the ability to supervise and motivate others.
Must have the ability to effectively operate forklifts.
Must have the ability to effectively operate a steam cleaner and be able to maintain the pressure of the steam cleaner.
Must have the ability to effectively operate general hand tools.
Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes.
Must have good organizational skills.
Must protect the company assets and interest.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and orderly department.
Keep shops, offices, and grounds clean and organized.
General maintenance of machinery and buildings.
Pick-up and delivery as required.
Maintain steam cleaner equipment.
Fill in as a shop mechanic when needed.
Ensure that material/components removed from vat are properly cleaned and organized.
Assist steam cleaning machines and other equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:
Typical hours of work Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm
Weekend hours as necessary
Inside and outside work.
