This position reports to the site Reliability Engineering Manager.

What you will do:

  • Drive safety everyday through leadership and direction to achieve Nutrien's safety vision "Home Safe Everyday"
  • Lead the daily activities of and provide vision for the I&E Reliability team consisting of an I&E Engineer, I&E Designer, I&E Specialists, Control Systems Programmer, and Control Systems Administrator
  • Develop, implement, and manage core I&E Reliability programs at site, including: Instrument and Electrical Integrity, Safety Instrumented Systems, PM and PDM programs, Bad Actors, Spare parts strategies, Root Cause Analysis, Critical Asset Identification, PM Optimization, QA/QC
  • Review and approve capital project packages and equipment specifications to ensure incorporation of site and PSM best practices
  • Develop and manage work scope for turnaround, and routine outages

What you will bring:

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering is required
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of I&E Engineering experience in the petrochemical or related industry required, leadership experience preferred
  • Familiarity with a large variety of Electrical, Instrument, Analyzer, and Control System equipment required
  • Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and related industry codes and standards including
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card
