Our neurology team includes neurologists with subspecialty expertise in stroke, neurointensive care, movement disorders, epilepsy, pain management, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disorders, and neuroimaging.

The Department of Pediatrics and our pediatric subspecialists (collectively, Ochsner Hospital for Children) represent over 140 providers and is growing rapidly. The group is the region's leading integrated provider of multispecialty care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. We offer a full range of pediatric care from primary to quaternary care,with services offered in all subspecialties including advanced gastroenterology/hepatology, orthopedic surgery, oncology and heart, liver and bone marrow transplant.

Our pediatric subspecialties include: Allergy, Cardiology Critical Care Medicine, Cardiac and Congenital Heart Surgery, Dermatology, ENT, Endocrinology, Emergency Medicine, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Hospital Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Medical Genetics, Neonatology, Nephrology/Hypertension, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology/Optometry, Orthopedics, Palliative Care, Psychiatry/Sports Medicine, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, General Surgery, Transplant, and Urology. We utilize a 44-bed pediatric unit, 14 bed PICU and a 12 bed CVICU with in-house intensivists as well as a dedicated, full-time, region-wide pediatric transport team.
