Position Description
Collects and reviews time on a daily basis. Ensures the time and attendance system is updated and maintained properly on a daily basis.
Submits hourly and non-exempt payroll hours on a weekly basis to Corporate headquarters for payroll processing.
Submits semi-monthly overtime to Corporate headquarters for payroll processing.
Prints weekly payroll reports.
Reconciles payroll reports to hours submission.
Prepares wage deduction
Matches invoices with purchase orders or purchase requisitions and receiving documents.
Codes invoice and prepare for input into computer system.
Enters coded invoices into computer system.
Reviews check registers and reconciles to invoices.
Balances inter-company transactions.
Prepares check requests for special payments.
Reconciles freight charges to actual bill-of-lading.
Reconciles travel accounts.
Prepares documentation used for freight accrual.
Assists in month-end financial closings.
Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Cost Accountant and/or the Plant Controller.
Perform work within our quality system.
Has the authority to stop the production process if a quality of safety concern is noticed.
Bachelors Degree with major in accounting or equivalent.
Two (2) years in manufacturing accounting areas described above.
