Job Description
M1 is looking for an Maintenance Test Pilot - RW with the following knowledge and experience:

See basic contract PWS.
In addition, this position shall also be proficient in flight operations of the OH-58A/C and/or UH- 60A/A+.
Maintenance test pilots shall possess a current valid ARMY or FAA Second Class Medical Certificate IAW DCMA
INST 8210.1. Annual renewals of Medical Certificates shall be the responsibility of the Contractor.
-Instrument Rating. Not applicable to this contract.
-Maintenance Test Pilot Prerequisites.
The Contractor's maintenance test pilot shall meet the qualification requirements of DCMA INST 8210.1, OH58.
Pilots shall have successfully completed US Army Aircraft Maintenance Officers Course (AMOC) Phase I/ II and shall
have flown a minimum of 50 flight hours performing MTP duties.
-Maintenance Test Pilot Physical Requirements.
The Contractor's maintenance test pilot shall undergo and successfully complete initially and annually thereafter during
their birth months, an Army second class flight physical or FAA class 2 physical.
Re-examination of Contractor test pilot may be required when in the best interest of the Government.
Contractor test pilot shall not perform flight duties when ill, after receiving medical treatment that may impair physical
abilities required for flight or after receiving drugs from a civilian physician until properly cleared by a Flight Surgeon.
-Maintenance Test Pilot Proficiency.
The Contractor's Maintenance test pilot shall undergo an initial and annual flight evaluation conducted IAW AR 95-1,
para 4-7 and all appropriate Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) tasks.
An Army Maintenance Test Flight Evaluator (MTFE) will conduct this evaluation.
These evaluations must meet the requirements of DCMA INST 8210.1.
-The Contractor shall ensure the pilot meets all qualifications and currency requirements set forth in DCMA INST
8210.1, AR 95-1 and the OH 58 and/or UH-60A/A+ Aircrew Training Manual.


In addition, the candidate should possess the following requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Courses in mathematics, algebra, chemistry, physics, mechanical drawing, and metal working are desirable.
Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating
instructions in the same language.
Excellent interpersonal skills, Detail-oriented.
Current valid U.S. Driver's License and if required, must be able to obtain and maintain a government driver's license.
Ability to obtain and maintain any security clearance or base access as required by the contract.
Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties.
Must be able to lift/pull/tug up to 75 lbs.
Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending,
pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract where individual possesses required experience,
training, and/or certifications.
Perform housekeeping duties in the work areas, 100' around facilities and assigned vehicles.
Must be willing to work overtime, any shift and/or flexible schedules as required to support the workload, mission, and
customer requirements.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and
non-confrontational attitude.
Member must demonstrate/possess a strong willingness and desire to learn.
Must have the ability to deal courteously, professionally and effectively with the customer.
Take direction from Supervisors and Lead Technicians.
Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements.
Must have practical knowledge of a wide range of common and specialized tools.
Performs any other supportive duties as assigned.
