Our Senior Lab Pack Chemist is responsible for the collection, identification, and packaging of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at our customer sites. They will operate a class B Box truck and bring the packaged waste back to a Clean Harbor facility where it is prepped for disposal. Chemists, this a great opportunity for a nontraditional lab role while still getting chemical experience under your belt! 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.

• Responsible for collecting, identifying and packaging hazardous/non-hazardous waste produced within customer facilities

• Prepare waste drums for pick-up and delivery

• Travel overnight to service customer locations

• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense report, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

 
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 2+ years’ lap packing experience required

• College degree in chemistry, biology or other natural science preferred

• Ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the time

• Ability to obtain and retain a Class “B” CDL with hazmat endorsement.
